In one of the ugliest fights in recent history, Ishe Smith, 21-6-2, 6 KO’s, mauled and wrestled Carlos Molina, 26-5, 11 KO’s, but did little else. Molina wasn’t able to find Smith as he leaned away and held on, never getting any offense going. This fight was terrible and could have gone either way, but the split decision nod went to Molina by scores of 117-111, 116-112 and 112-116.

Pablo Cesar Cano, 27-3-1, 20 KO’s, clearly controlled and defeated Ashley Theophane, 33-6-1, 10 KO’s, but would have to settle for a split decision by scores of 94-96, 98-92 and 97-93. Cano spent the first half of the fight chasing Theophane as he ran away. In the last half, Theophane held his ground, but he was battered. There was really no doubt as to who won the fight, but this is boxing and we had a split decision, but the right guy won in the end.
