Frankie Gomez Set to Fight on June 24th

The featured fights are set for the June 24 “Fight Night Club” event at Club Nokia in Los Angeles. In the main event, East Los Angeles’ highly-touted amateur star Frankie Gomez (3-0, 3 KOs) meets Geoffrey Gaya (5-2, 1 KO) in a four round junior welterweight match. The co-main will see Jessie Vargas (10-0, 5 KOs) against veteran Ernesto Zavala (21-4, 9 KOs) in a six rounder. 2008 U.S. Olympian and unbeaten former amateur star Gary Russell Jr. (9-0, 6 KOs), Irish jr welter Jamie Kavanagh (1-0, 1 KO) and jr middleweight Roberto Reyes (1-0, 1 KO) will all face opponents to be determined.
