Mikey Garcia, 33-0, 28 KO’s, was knocked down for the second time in his career, but other than that, he dominated Rocky Martinez, 27-2-2, 16 KO’s, en route to a body shot knockout in round eight.

Garcia’s power proved to be the deciding factor, as it usually is. He turned up the pressure as the rounds went on and Martinez bravely stood up to it, but the left hook to the body is the killer and it put him down for more than the count. Garcia is one of the best fighters in the sport and proved his power and skills once again by knocking out a tough customer in impressive fashion.
