Tyson Fury BOXING SHOCKER: Signs with Frank Warren: Breaking Boxing News

Unbeaten heavyweight contender Tyson Fury has agreed to a promotional deal to fight on promoter Frank Warren’s February 15 Copper Box Arena show in London. Warren stated “We’re looking for an eliminator fight between [Dereck] Chisora and Fury in June, to be in a football stadium…We look forward to working with Tyson, Peter Fury, Mick Hennessey, Hughie Fury and the rest of the team.” Fury previously outpointed an out of shape Chisora in July 2011, however Chisora displayed a newfound dedication in 2013, going 4-0 with 4 KOs. Del Boy will defend his European heavyweight title against Andriy Rudenko on the Copper Box show. Hughie Fury also features on the card.

The deal however is not done. After the announcement, Tyson’s manager/trainer Peter Fury tweeted “Our promotor is still Mick Hennessy!! We are currently awaiting the contract in a co-promotion with Boxnation. Only then the deal is done!!”
