Jean Pascal DOMINATES Lucian Bute: HBO Boxing Results from Canada

The once great Lucian Bute, 31-2, 24 KO’s, proved to be only a shell of his former self as he couldn’t pull the trigger in the 12 rounds he followed Jean Pascal, 29-2-1, 17 KO’s, taking punishment along the way. Bute seemed to be a deer in the headlights whenever Pascal would throw.

Every time that Pascal would land, it would rattle Bute, and he was unable to find any openings. What we saw tonight was a great fighter losing to Father Time and dropping a decision by scores of 117-110, 117-111 and 116-112.
