Sergey Kovalev, 24-0-1, 22 KO’s, dominated and knocked out Cedric Agnew, 26-1, 13 KO’s, in round seven. From the opening bell, Kovalev hunted down Agnew, and dropped him in round two with a left hook. Agnew was in survival mode and was dropped two other times before he made the decision not to get up.

Kovalev’s display of power was impressive yet again in one of the most competitive divisions in boxing. It was a great showing for the champion.
