Manny Pacquiao Defeats Timothy Bradley by Unanimous Decision – BOXING PPV RESULTS – Knockout, Rematch, Undercard & More- HBO TOP RANK PPV BOXING NEWS

By Geno McGahee

Manny Pacquiao, 56-5-2, 38 KO’s, avenged his defeat to Timothy Bradley, 31-1, 12 KO’s, by unanimous decision by scores of 116-112 (twice) and 118-110. From the opening bell, Bradley tried to show that he owned the ring by throwing power-punches and striking Pacquiao with some regularity, but after the fourth round, things changed and Bradley seemed to have lost his focus. Manny came forward with punches in bunches and started to build up points.

The fight was a lot closer than the judges had it. Pacquiao threw a lot of punches but missed a great deal. Pacquiao went into this fight with five points on the scorecards already. I had it a draw.

It’s too bad that Bradley didn’t save a punch for Pacquiao’s mother as she cursed him during the fight, praying to her invisible friend from the land of make believe in the sky that he would be struck down. HBO kept showing her yelling and crying. I may ask for a percentage of the money back that I paid for this pay per view.

Bradley claimed an injured calf after the fight and seemed to accept the defeat rather well. Pacquiao didn’t look spectacular but he has resurrected his career with the back to back victories.
