British boxing superstar, Amir Khan, 29-3, 19 KO’s, used movement, holding, and power shots to dominate former welterweight champ, Luis Collazo, 35-6, 18 KO’s, en route to a unanimous decision by scores of 117-106 and 119-104 (twice).
From the opening bell, Khan circled the oncoming Collazo, using his reach and straight right hands to take control. There were some rocky moments but the true damage was administered by Khan. Collazo was dropped three times but made his presence known with some vicious low blows.
In the end, there was no doubt as to who won and now Khan wants Floyd Mayweather, JR. Off this performance, it’s doubtful if he will get it. He won, but he should have stopped the older Collazo.
Well, well, well, my favorite man, Amir Khan won the fight! I mean, y’all know that the man from the UK is just like my friend Peter from the UK. They both are scrappers, both collect die cast cars and both bug people for autographed pictures. Well, maybe Khan ain’t like that but who knows? It could happen. Anyway, I want to see Khan go in there and put that so-called pretty boy on blast and then blast him from behind. Yowza…did I say that? By gum, I did say that. Eat me.
