George Groves Beats Christopher Rebrasse – British Boxing News

WBC #4, WBA #6, IBF #10 super middleweight George Groves (20-2, 15 KOs) dethroned European champion Christopher Rebrasse (22-3-3, 6 KOs) by unanimous decision on Saturday night at the Wembley Arena in London, England. Rebounding from consecutive losses to to WBA/IBF super middleweight champion Carl Froch, Groves came out aggressively in the early rounds and outworked Rebrasse the whole way. No knockdowns and nether fighter was hurt. Scores were 118-110, 117-111, 118-110. The bout was also a WBC eliminator so Groves is now mandatory challenger for Anthony Dirrell.

Unbeaten super flyweight Khalid Yafai (12-0, 9 KOs) scored a second round KO over Harold Molina (17-9-3, 7 KOs). Yafai dropped Molina in round one with a body shot and twice in round two to end it. Time was 1:50.

2012 Olympic gold medalist Luke Campbell (8-0, 6 KOs) scored a seventh round TKO over journeyman Krzysztof Szot (18-16-1, 5 KOs) in a lightweight bout. Szot, who was down twice in the seventh round, has now lost 12 on his last 13.
