Lil Wayne & Nicki Minaj Shock Fans: A Couple

Rapper Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj will be appearing as a couple on the same venue with self-proclaimed “BOSS” Rick Ross at the official Little 500 concert. IU will be the only student-presented stop on Wayne’s “I Am Still Music Tour.” The show will take place at 7 p.m. April 12th at Assembly Hall. The event is co-sponsored by the IU Auditorium. Many students took to Facebook and clearly showed they wanted Lil Wayne to appear.
“There has been a lot of chatter from students about Lil Wayne performing here,” Union Board Concert Director Lisa Wagner said. “We wanted to make sure we’re responding to the students’ needs.”
Lil Wayne has been on a tear since his release from jail late last year appearing on everyone’s tracks it seems. Nicki Minaj is the hottest thing in music right now amongst the female rappers with Lil Kim taking aim at her recently in a song she released along with CD cover where she had a beheaded Minaj doll.
