Wladmir Klitschko – David Haye: "If He Dies, He Dies"

Wladimir Klitschko, 58-3, 49 KO’s and David Haye, 25-1, 23 KO’s participated today in the fight week press conference in Hamburg (Germany) to speak about their title unification fight on July 2. IBF, WBO, IBO and “Ring Magazine” Champion Klitschko and WBA World Heavyweight Champion Haye will face off next Saturday at Imtech ARENA Hamburg, Germany.

Wladimir Klitschko:

“I’m happy that Haye will be in great shape because that means a real challenge for me and that’s what I want. I respect Haye as a fighter but definitely not as a person. I will knock him out back into reality. Haye will be my number #50 on my knock out list.”

David Haye:

“I’m in tremendous shape. I’m healthy, have great punch power and speed. I have the perfect game plan to beat Wladimir Klitschko.”

The fight will be shown live on RTL in Germany (9.45 p.m. CET). Sky Sports will carry the fight live on pay per view in the UK (8 p.m. BST). HBO will show the fight in the US (5 p.m. EST, 2 p.m. PST).

This fight has that feeling of the famous line from Rocky IV when Ivan Drago tells Rocky Balboa, “if he dies, he dies!”
