Jon Jones: UFC, Dan Henderson, DUI & More – UFC NEWS

The UFC Light Heavyweight Champion is only human. He had a few too many and went out on the road and drove his 2012 Bentley into a telephone pole. Jon Jones is a victim of his own celebrity. The guy becomes the pound for pound best in the game, has all of the media up his backside and all of the ladies down his pants and is expected not to pour back a few to ease down?

Jones plead guilty to driving while intoxicated and must complete alcohol abuse and dependency assessment, but that is all water under the bridge now. He learned his lesson and can now move on to UFC 151.

Las Vegas, Nevada…the city of sin baby, will be where Jones takes on Dan Henderson. Henderson is a big underdog, but the guy has put together four straight victories, including his last, a UD over Shogun Rua at UFC 139.

Jones is not unbeatable, but the guy is damn close. On September 1st, Henderson will bring in experience and ambition, but I can’t help but think he will fall very short in the end. Jon Jones is still seeking that ultimate encounter, but is there anyone that can fit the bill?
