MOTHER LOCKS CHILD IN CLOSET – 10 Year Old Malnourished & Beaten – BREAKING NEWS & UPDATE

Jacole Prince, 29, is accused of keeping her 10 year old daughter locked in a closet. She would not allow her to come out to eat, sleep, or use the bathroom. The child weighed a mere 32 pounds, gaining only 6 pounds since she was 4 years old, according to reports.

Kansas City Police Captain Steve Young noted that “She weighed a little over a third of what a 10 year old should weigh. We don’t know how long or how frequently she’s been in there (the closet), but it’s clear she’d spent a significant amount of time in there.”

The police department met up with the Missouri Children’s Division outside of Prince’s apartment building, regarding a call about a girl that was locked up and mistreated. The neighbors were interviewed and stated that they have never seen a third child. Prince left her child locked in the closet as she left the apartment with her other two children.

The smell of urine was very strong inside of the apartment and when they yelled “is there anyone in here,” the child answered “yes!” She stood in the closet, which she referred to as “her room.” She noted that she was locked in there because she “messed herself,” and that she sleeps in there.

The child went on to say that her mother gets angry and “punchers her on the back” because she keeps peeing on herself. She is isolated from her sisters, not allowed to play with them at all. Remarkably, Prince and her boyfriend were arrested and the mother admitted that she locked up her young child because she didn’t want to get into trouble, citing the condition of her child. The boyfriend denied any involvement.

Prince is charged with assault in the first degree, child abuse, and endangering the welfare of a child.
