Forza Horizon: VIDEO GAME NEWS & UPDATE – Xbox 360 News

Microsoft, Playground Games, and Turn 10 Studios have announced that the demo for “Forza Horizon” is now available for download. Experience the thrill of action racing on the open roads of Colorado in this wide-ranging demo, designed to give players a taste of the white-knuckle action in store when “Forza Horizon” is unleashed to retail on 26th October.

In the demo, players will experience the fictional Colorado of “Forza Horizon”, driving a sampling of cars from Horizon’s stellar line-up across a variety of different event types – from Horizon Festival events taking place on the dusty dirt roads to a climactic street race that find players winding up, around, and over the architectural marvel that is the Finley Dam.

Players who download and play the “Forza Horizon” demo and then purchase and play the full game online will receive a specially designed 2013 SRT Viper GTS, celebrating Forza Horizon’s “gone-gold” status. This rare liveried car will only be available to those who download the demo, then purchase and play the game online. The “Forza Horizon” Xbox LIVE demo requires an Xbox LIVE Gold account.

Watch “Forza Horizon – Behind the Scenes Part 3” Now: The latest edition of the “Forza Horizon – Behind the Scenes” video series is now available for download. This video centres on the concept of “action racing”, where driving with style is just as important as reaching the finish line first. Forza Horizon’s skill system has been designed to reward players for driving with skill and style, wherever they happen to be on the open roads. As players drive, drift, and weave through traffic in the game, they will earn points to increase their popularity as well as credits, which they can use to buy new cars or add upgrades to their existing cars. All of the action-packed racing in “Forza Horizon” is powered by the same critically acclaimed physics that have been the foundation of the “Forza Motorsport” series for years.

Look for Part 4 in the “Forza Horizon – Behind the Scenes” series on Friday 19th October.
