GLORY 3 ROME: Final 8" Championship Kickboxing Tournament – MAJOR NEWS

The knockouts keep coming from FIGHT NOW TV – America’s only 24-hour combat sports and entertainment channel – with its announcement to air the “GLORY 3 ROME: Final 8” Championship Kickboxing Tournament, airing Live in the United States from Italy, November 3rd starting at 3:00 p.m. ET / 12:00 p.m.

FIGHT NOW TV will run a “Glory” kick-boxing marathon, starting Nov. 1st with “Stockholm 2012,” followed by “Glory 2 Brussels” on Nov. 2nd, culminating with the Nov. 3rd “Glory 3 Rome: Final 8” event LIVE from Italy. Catch all of the “Glory” kick-boxing action in the U.S., only on FIGHT NOW TV.

Given the interest across the United States for this highly-anticipated tournament, FIGHT NOW TV will be offering kickboxing fans two ways to catch all the kicks, punches and knockouts that “GLORY 3 ROME: Final 8” is sure to deliver:

Other cable subscribers and satellite customers will be able to see the event live on pay per view via iN Demand, DIRECTV, DISH Network and Avail-TVN for a suggested retail price of only $19.95

The eight kick-boxers scheduled to fight in the ‘Final 8’ tournament are as follows:

Ky Hollenbeck (34-7-0, 21 KOs), San Francisco, California
Tim Thomas (60-1-9, 35 KOs), London, England
Davit Kiria (18-7-0, 10 KOs), Amsterdam, Netherlands
Sanny Dahlbeck (24-4-0, 14 KOs), Stockholm, Sweden.

Two ‘Superfight’ bouts, as well as two tournament ‘reserve bouts,’ have also been announced. In the event that one or more of the tournament fighters is unable to compete in the next tournament stage, after winning a fight, a reserve bout winner will take the injured fighter’s place.

The matchups for the quarterfinal round of the tournament will be determined in a random draw, the details of which will be announced soon.

The winner of the tournament will have fought three times that night, earning a grand prize of $300,000, at the arena where Muhammad Ali won his Olympic boxing gold medal in 1960. It will test the competitors’ skill, strength and fitness, requiring them to dig into the deepest parts of their spirit to endure pain, fear and exhaustion.
