MCM London Comic Con – VIDEO GAME UPDATE & NEWS

Visitors to MCM London Comic Con on 26-28 October will be spoilt for choice when it comes to gaming goodness – not only will the world’s top publishers be previewing their latest games on their stands, but show goers will also be able attend panels on the MCM Games Stage, which this year is brought to you in association with Xbox360Achievements.org and PS3Trophies.org.

A highlight of the weekend will be a series of presentations by Ubisoft’s Steven Masters, Lead Game Designer of the much-anticipated Assassin’s Creed 3, which sets the series’ iconic open world stealth action against a backdrop of the American War of Independence. Ubisoft will also be taking to the MCM Games Stage to show off their multi-platform FPS sequel, Far Cry 3.

The Games Stage will also play host to the final of Namco Bandai’s Tekken Tag Tournament 2 tournament, which sees the country’s 16 top players battling it out for the chance to represent the UK at the Electronic Sport World Cup in Paris.

In addition, Namco Bandai will be hosting panels on Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, a stunning-looking Japanese role-playing game that features character design and animation by the legendary Studio Ghibli, as well as a series of presentations on Tales of Xillia and the latest addition to their epic Naruto franchise, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3. CyberConnect2’s President, Hiroshi Matsuyama, will also be flying in from Japan to make some exciting announcements and will be on hand to answer the burning questions relating to Ultimate Ninja Storm 3.

Another top publisher taking to the MCM Games Stage over the Comic Con weekend will be Capcom. The publisher will not only be giving the audience a sneak peek at DmC – a reboot of the popular hack-n-slash Devil May Cry franchise – but also a look at the third-person shooter sequel Lost Planet 3, which will take players back to fight amid the frozen wastes of E.D.N. III.
