MapleStory’s Masquerade – VIDEO GAME UPDATE & NEWS

Nexon America’s colorful 2D side-scrolling MMORPG recently introduced the Halloween-themed Masquerade update, bringing zombies, a haunted house, and presidential candidates for good measure. Players can go zombie exterminating, haunted house exploring, and even campaign for their favorite political party.

Maplers interested in zombies can now jump into MapleStory and participate in various quests to learn about zombies, avoid becoming one, and even mow them down with a special truck. To learn more about zombies occupying Maple World, curious players can help Jonas collect zombie cell samples for research purposes. Maid, on the other hand, needs help to find a vaccination to zombie bites. In the Brain Painting quest, players will help the Masked Gentleman eliminate zombies infesting his basement with the new Decapitruck, a truck that allows characters to mow down multiple zombies at once.

Additionally, Maplers will have access to Olivia’s Haunted House, a spooky haunted mansion accessible through New Leaf City. Each quest in the Mansion has three versions depending on the player’s character level. While in Olivia’s Haunted House, players will help her complete a series of quests and be rewarded handsomely for their efforts.

Along with the exciting Halloween-themed content, players passionate about the upcoming U.S. Presidential election can participate in various election-related events and essentially campaign for either the Republican or Democratic Party to earn prizes that show which side they support and represent. Prizes they can earn include the Republican Supporter or Democratic Supporter medals, Red Elephant or Blue Donkey Balloons, campaigner badges and more.
