Adonis Stevenson: “Bring on the Winner of Hopkins Vs. Kovalev”
WBC light heavyweight champion Adonis “Superman” Stevenson claims he will fight the winner of the Hopkins-Kovalev WBA/IBF/WBO title unification clash taking place November 8 in Atlantic City. “I will be ringside on November 8 for the fight of Bernard Hopkins vs Sergey Kovalev. I will fight the winner for the unification,” wrote Stevenson on his Facebook page. of course, negotiations between the Stevenson camp and both the Hopkins and Kovalev camps have failed in the past, then there is the issue of which network would televise the bout with Hopkins and Kovalev both currently aligned with HBO, and Stevenson recently jumping from HBO to Showtime.
