Stevie Gamache Defeats Damon Antoine – Boxing News

On Saturday night, New England Fights (NEF) held its first professional boxing event at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee in Lewiston, Maine. A crowd of approximately 1,100 was on-hand to witness the first professional boxing event held in Lewiston since September 2004. All bouts went to the judges’ scorecards. Lewiston’s own Stevie Gamache picked up the fifth victory of his career to remain undefeated over Damon Antoine (11-56-2, 5 KOs) in a jr middleweight bout. In the main event of the evening, undefeated Brandon Berry (8-0, 5 KOs) became the Northeast junior welterweight champion with a unanimous decision win over Eric Palmer (4-4-3, 0 KOs).
