James Page DEFEATS Maxell Taylor – Boxing News

Unbeaten light heavyweight Jeff Page Jr. (15-0, 10 KOs) defeated Maxell Taylor (18-9-1, 8 KOs) via fifth round KO on Saturday night at the Beech Activity Center in Wichita, Kansas. The UBF Inter-Continental belt on the line for Page only in this bout as this was the second fight in a row Taylor came in overweight.

A scheduled eight round super welterweight bout between Ahmad Chiehko (16-5-2, 11 KOs) and Travis Hartman (12-20-1, 9 KOs) was scratched after Chiehko missed the contracted weight of 149 lbs, then hours before the fight pulled out claiming a back injury. The commission forced his management team to pay Hartman.

Super middleweight Emmanuel Thompson (4-0, 3 KOs) defeated Keith Collins (4-29, 2 KOs) via second round KO.

Pro debuting middleweight Jeremiah Page defeated Jose Brewer (0-8) via first round KO.

Welterweight Robbie Seyam (1-1, 1 KO) defeated Marvell Fight (0-4) by first round KO.

Heavyweight Wayne Heath (1-0-1, 1 KO) made Michael Glenn (3-10-3, 1 KO) quit in round two.
