WBO light heavyweight world champion Sergey “Krusher” Kovalev, 26-0-1, 23 KO’s defeated Bernard “The Alien” Hopkins, 55-7-2, 32 KO’s via a twelve round unanimous decision last night to unify the titles. When the scorecards were read, Kovalev was the winner by 120-107 (twice) and 120-106.
