Former WWE Champion Released?

WWE Superstar The Great Khali is no longer featured on the WWE’s current roster. Khali’s profile has been recently moved to WWE’s Alumni roster, which could be an indication that he’s done with being an active roster member, or has been released from the company.
Khali has been working a number of WWE live events and TV tapings since summer. Khali’s last televised match was a loss to Rusev on the Halloween episode of SmackDown. Khali is not on the current tour of Europe, either.
To many wrestling purist, they always wanted the lumbering giant gone, from a business standpoint, you can’t deny the draw he is overseas in India. But, it looks like The Great Khali is in fact off of WWE programming.
