WWE Monday Night RAW – TLC Takes Shape, Anonymous GM vs John Cena? Erick Rowan is Here!

WWE Monday Night RAW was live from the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma…The show starts with the Anonymous RAW General Manager sound going off, the message says WWE needs him. He can’t let the future of WWE rest with washed-up Superstars. Cole goes to make announcements but John Cena interrupts.

Cena says the GM and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar have something in common – “they show up once a year.” Cena goes on but is interrupted by the GM sound over and over again. Cena says he’s not letting RAW get turned over to a computer and shuts the laptop. Seth Rollins comes out with Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble. Rollins comes to the ring and rags on Cena. Rollins says Cena didn’t win anything at Survivor Series because he eliminated Cena. Rollins brings up Sting and the crowd pops. Cena gives credit to Dolph Ziggler.

Rollins says everyone should ask if WWE is really better off without The Authority in power and a “yes!” chant starts. They argue and Cena tells Rollins to ask him nicely to bring The Authority back. Rollins hesitates but eventually does. The GM sound goes off again. Cena then says it’s up to the fans. Cole announces Rollins vs. Cena in a Tables Match for TLC. If Cena loses, he will no longer be the #1 contender. Rollins attacks Cena from behind and the Stooges and him pull a table out. Ryback comes to make the save but Kane comes out and beats Ryback down with a chair. Erick Rowan makes the save for Ryback but then Big Show takes him out. Show takes Rowan to the steel steps and Dolph Ziggler comes out. Rollins and The Stooges end up trying to put Cena through a table but Cena saves himself. Luke Harper runs out next and as Cena tries to fight back Show drops him with a knockout punch. Rollins and The Stooges put Cena through a table.

– During the commercial, the Anonymous GM made Show vs. Rowan plus Harper, Kane and Rollins vs. Cena, Ziggler and Ryback in the main event.

Tag Team Turmoil Match: The Usos vs. Cesaro and Tyson Kidd vs. Stardust and Goldust vs. A New Day vs. Adam Rose and The Bunny

The winning team will face The Miz and Damien Sandow at TLC. Stardust and Goldust make their way out first to face A New Day…Kofi hits a dropkick before they go back and forth. Goldust comes in but quickly gets tossed. Big E comes in and they double team Goldust. Big E with a 2 count. Goldust counters and takes the knee out. Stardust tags back in and works Big E over. Kofi tags back in for a big double team move off the top for the pin. Goldust and Stardust are eliminated. Cesaro and Tyson Kidd are out next with Natalya.

Cesaro controls Kofi. Kidd comes in for some double teaming. Kofi makes a hot tag. Big E with a belly to belly. He runs the ropes and splashes Kidd. Cesaro saves Kidd from The Big Ending. Big E dumps them both to the apron and knocks them off with a double clothesline. Kofi tags in from the top. Stardust ends up attacking Woods on the floor, distracting Kofi, who gets rolled up from behind. Kofi and Big E are eliminated. The Usos are out next as Kidd starts off with Jey.

Cesaro comes in and hits a big throw and we have the usual Uso back and forth. Jey was going to dive out on Kidd but he used Natalya as a shield. Cesaro works over Jey until a hot tag spot. Kidd and Jimmy get the tags and go at it. Uso hits a Samoan Drop but Cesaro breaks the pin. Cesaro and Jey are sent to the floor. Natalya tries to help Kidd, distracting Uso for whatever reason allowing Kidd to kick him in the head. Kidd springboards but Jimmy counters. Jey tags in and hits a splash from the top. Cesaro and Kidd are eliminated. Adam Rose and The Bunny are out next.

Rose gets rolled up while talking to The Bunny. The Bunny tags himself in and Rose isn’t happy. The Bunny powerbombs Uso from the top for a 2 count. Rose comes back in and argues with The Bunny. He turns around into a superkick. Usos hit a splash for the win and the title shot.

Winners and New #1 Contenders: The Usos

– A limousine pulls up backstage and out comes Vince McMahon.

– Seth Green is announced as the host for next week’s Slammy Awards episode of RAW.

– Tom Phillips is backstage with Erick Rowan. Phillips says he’s done some research and Rowan has an IQ of 143 and is a winemaker, among other things(I guess to add some depth of genius and sophistication to the monster gimmick). Phillips asks Rowan why he’s targeted Big Show. Rowan says Big Show is a bully.

Erick Rowan vs. Big Show

Big Show comes out and says to send out his next victim Erick Rowan. The bell rings and Rowan beats Show down against the ropes and stomps away, quickly kicking Show out of the ring.

Rowan follows but Show takes control. Show bullies Rowan around now. Rowan fights back. He ducks a clothesline and drops Show with one of his own. Rowan clotheslines Show over the ropes. Rowan follows with a big chop and a headbutt. Show whips Rowan into the steps. Show grabs the steps and slams it into Rowan for a disqualification.

Winner by DQ: Erick Rowan

– Vince McMahon is backstage when Renee Young approaches and asks about the current state of WWE but Vince interrupts. He’s happy because of tonight’s live podcast with Steve Austin on the WWE Network. She asks if Vince is thinking about bringing back The Authority. He says that’s John Cena’s choice. Vince says his interview is going to be fun and he walks off.

Fandango vs. Jack Swagger

Fandango does his entrance with Rosa Mendes. Jack Swagger’s music hits but he isn’t there. It starts over but nothing and we cut to the back. Zeb Colter is on the ground holding his leg. Swagger runs over and asks who did this. We go back to the ring and Fandango gets booed as he poses. Lilian Garcia goes to announce the winner by forfeit but Rosa takes the mic and says his name.

Winner by Forfeit: Fandango

– Rusev’s music hits as Lana and WWE United States Champion Rusev make their way out.

– Back from the break and we see last week’s segment. Lana plays Rusev up as a victim, but gloats about his 20 man battle royal victory on SmackDown. Rusev says those who have foolishly challenged him have been crushed. For those who don’t listen, like Zeb Colter, they have been broken. Lana tell us to stand for a true pledge of allegiance as the Russian flag drops down. She mocks our Pledge for Russia and we see Vladimir Putin on the big screen. Swagger’s music hits and out he comes. Swagger tackles Rusev and unloads. Swagger throws Rusev into the barrier. They brawl as referees try to separate them. Swagger leaps and jumps onto Rusev on the ramp. Rusev backs up the ramp as Lana comes scurrying along with the title. Officials hold Swagger back to allow Rusev and Lana leave.

Damien Sandow vs. Fernando

Los Matadores wait with El Torito. The WWE Tag Team Champions The Miz and Damien Sandow are out next. Miz is on commentary for the match. We see a video clip from “earlier today” where Sandow may be finally tired of the Miz’s antics.

The match was back and forth to start until Sandow takes control and ends up getting the win with the Figure Four.

Winner: Damien Sandow

– After the match, Jimmy Uso comes out and drops The Miz with a big slap, payback for earlier comments towards Naomi. Jimmy tells Miz to stay away from his wife and walks off with Miz looking shocked.

– We see Bray Wyatt light his lantern. “Tulsa, he’s here!”

R-Truth vs. Bray Wyatt

We come back and R-Truth waits in the ring as Bray Wyatt makes his way out. Wyatt dominates from the start.

Wyatt starts yelling out asking where Dean Ambrose is. Wyatt whips Truth hard into the corner and snickers. Truth fights back a bit and makes a small comeback. He splashes Wyatt in the corner and ducks a clothesline. Truth hits the corkscrew elbow off the ropes. Wyatt dodges the Lie Detector and slams Truth. Wyatt takes Truth to the apron and drops him face first on it. Wyatt rolls Truth back in and Wyatt does the spider walk……Wyatt hits Sister Abigail for the win.

Winner: Bray Wyatt

– After the match, Wyatt goes under the ring and throws chairs inside. He brings out a ladder and a spotlight is on the ring. Wyatt sits under the ladder and cuts a promo on Dean Ambrose and TLC. Wyatt says he sees tables, ladders and chairs in his dreams. The crowd chants “oh my” after Wyatt says tables, ladders and chairs each time. The music hits and out comes Dean Ambrose to a pop. Ambrose pulls Wyatt to the floor and they brawl. Wyatt tosses Ambrose hard into the barrier but he bounces back with a clothesline. Ambrose puts Wyatt on top the announce table. Ambrose pulls a ladder from under the ring and stand it up as referees run down to stop him. Ambrose climbs up to put Wyatt through the table but Wyatt slithers away. Ambrose leaps and nails Wyatt. Wyatt tries to escape but Ambrose sends him into the ring post. Referees break it up and Wyatt heads up the ramp. Ambrose hits the ring and destroys Wyatt’s rocking chair. Wyatt looks on horrified.

The Bella Twins vs. AJ Lee and Naomi

Out comes WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella with her sister Brie Bella.

Nikki suplexes Naomi for a pin attempt. Brie comes in and takes over. Brie with a big running uppercut in the corner. Nikki tags back in with a clothesline for a 1 count. AJ finally gets a tag and unloads on Nikki. AJ hits a splash and a neckbreaker. AJ knocks Brie out of the ring and hits a tornado DDT on Nikki. Brie breaks the pin. Naomi dropkicks Nikki but Brie tosses her out to the floor. AJ tosses Brie to the floor and hits the Shining Wizard on Nikki. AJ locks in the Black Widow for the submission.

Winners: AJ Lee and Naomi

– We come back and go to WWE headquarters in Stamford, CT to Paul Heyman. Cole asks about the stipulations for Cena vs. Rollins at TLC. Heyman addresses Cena’s comments from the opening segment where he said Brock Lesnar only shows up once a year. Heyman compares Lesnar’s returns to Christmas and WrestleMania. He says it’s can’t miss event. Heyman says Cena will receive another beating if he can keep his #1 contendership. Heyman says Rollins can’t hide behind The Authority anymore and brings up how he did Curb Stomp Lesnar. Heyman no longer accepts Rollins’ apology. Heyman brings up how The Undertaker is still missing. He brings up Sting and says it would be a retirement match if he even attempted to face Lesnar. Heyman says Lesnar will feast on the entire locker room. He says there is an authority in WWE, there is a power and that’s the one with the WWE gold. Heyman says he represents that power.

John Cena, Ryback and Dolph Ziggler vs. Seth Rollins,Luke Harper and Kane

Cena starts with Harper. Cena with a clothesline and a pin attempt. Cena drops Harper and pulls Rollins into the ring. Cena with a STF on Rollins but Harper breaks it up. Cena drops Harper again for a 2 count. Dolph Ziggler tags in and they hit a dropkick on Harper with a big dropkick. Harper nails Ziggler and in comes Kane. Kane beats Ziggler around but finally gets kicked in the face. Ryback tags in. Ryback unloads on Kane at first but Kane cuts him off. Kane misses a clothesline and Ryback hits a Thesz Press. Ryback slams Kane’s head and splashes him. Kane pushes Ryback in the corner and Harper tags back in.

Ryback and Harper go at it. Ryback hits a clothesline for a 2 count. They go back and forth. Ryback blocks a suplex and goes for one of his own but can’t get Harper up. He tries again and holds Harper in the air. Ryback drops Harper with another suplex for a 2 count. Ziggler tags in and they work Harper over in the corner. Kane tags in and Ziggler locks in a sleeper hold. Kane gets out but misses a chokeslam. Ziggler comes charging out of the corner but Kane decks him in mid-air with a huge right. Rollins tags in and works over Ziggler. Harper comes back in and does the same.
Cena and Rollins finally come in and go at it. Harper runs in and Cena takes him out. Kane comes in and Cena grabs him. Ryback helps Cena with a double suplex. Mercury and Noble get a cheap shot on Cena as the referee was dealing with Ryback. Rollins with a 2 count.

Kane is in control of Cena with a 2 count. Cena finally hits a dropkick but Harper tags in and slams Cena on his face for a 2 count. Cena goes to tag out but Harper drops him with a big boot for a 2 count. Rollins tags in. Cena goes for a tag but Rollins clotheslines him. Rollins stomps away on Cena. Rollins with a headlock. The fans chant “feed me more” for a Ryback tag. Ziggler gets tagged instead. Ziggler unloads on Harper and knocks Kane off the apron. Ziggler takes control and hits the Fame-asser for a 2 count as Rollins breaks it up. Ryback works over Rollins, but Kane makes the save. Cena leaps off the top and takes out everybody in the middle of the ring. Cena goes to AA Kane but it’s blocked. Kane kicks Cena out of the ring. Ryback slams Kane. Rollins with a springboard knee to the face of Ryback. Ziggler hits a tornado DDT on Rollins. Harper catches Ziggler with a sideslam for a 2 count.

More back and forth and Ziggler gets a random pin out of nowhere.

Winners: John Cena, Ryback and Dolph Ziggler

– After the match, Harper attacks Ziggler. All six Superstars start brawling. Big Show comes out and drops Ziggler, Ryback and Cena. Kane and Show double team Ryback now. Erick Rowan comes down with steel steps and decks Harper on the ramp. He nails Kane at ringside. Ziggler throws Rollins face first into the steps as Rowan holds them. Rowan brings the steps in the ring. Show grabs him and Ryback for a double chokeslam but Ziggler makes the save with a superkick. Ryback hits Show with a Meathook clothesline. Cena nails the AA on Show. Cena, Ziggler and Ryback whip Big Show into the steps that Rowan was holding. Rowan, Cena, Ziggler and Ryback stand tall as Cena’s music hits. Cole adds that Erick Rowan has arrived. Rowan stands over Big Show as the others continue their celebration.
