Fedor Chudinov STOPS Ben McColloch to Win WBA Interim Belt
In a clash for the vacant WBA interim super middleweight title, Fedor Chudinov (12-0, 10 KOs) scored a devastating second round knockout over Ben McCulloch (14-1, 11 KOs) on Thursday night at the Dynamo Palace of Sports in Moscow, Russia. A crushing right hand knocked McCulloch out cold. Chudinov is the younger brother of WBA interim middleweight beltholder Dmitry Chudinov.
In an entertaining fight between BIG heavyweights, 6’8 Alexander Ustinov (30-1, 21 KOs) won an eight round unanimous decision over Chauncy Welliver (55-10-5, 22 KOs). Ustinov dropped Welliver in round five, but the rugged 300-pounder Welliver went the full eight.
