Andre Ward has been left off the list due to being inactive for over a year. If he returns and notches a high quality win, he will regain his #2 ranking.

This is just one scribes personal list, and in reality, a case can be made for many different fighters for #5-#20 and an argument can be made to place certain fighters higher or lower than my personal ranking. All in all, I took into account recent quality wins, obvious top level skill sets and established high level operators. Some fighters were skilled enough to be higher but were new to the elite level and lacked the overall body of work to be placed higher.
