Last time I posted my rankings was in early March, so here is my updated pound for pound list as of May 3, 2015.

Note: Andre Ward has been left off of the list due to being inactive for over a year. Juan Manuel Marquez and Carl Froch are still listed as they have been inactive for just under a year, next month’s list will have them omitted. Miguel Cotto remains listed as he is scheduled to face Daniel Geale on June 6.

1. Floyd Mayweather, JR.
2. Guillermo Rigondeaux
3. Roman Gonzalez
4. Manny Pacquiao
5. Timothy Bradley
6. Juan Manuel Marquez
7. Sergey Kovalev
8. Terrence Crawford
9. Wladimir Klitschko
10. Saul Alvarez
11. Gennady “GGG” Golovkin
12. Carl Froch
13. Miguel Cotto
14. Nicholas Walters
15. Juan Francisco Estrada
16. Erislandy Lara
17. Danny Garcia
18. Marcos Maidana
19. Amir Khan
20. Keith Thurman

Just missed list:
Naoya Inoue
Carl Frampton
Demetrius Andrade

This is just one scribes personal list, and in reality, a case can be made for many different fighters for #5-#20 and an argument can be made to place certain fighters higher or lower than my personal ranking. All in all, I took into account recent quality wins, obvious top level skill sets and established high level operators. Some fighters were skilled enough to be higher but were new to the elite level and lacked the overall body of work to be placed higher.
