On May 2, 2015, we had the “Farce of the Century” when Floyd Mayweather, JR., faced Manny Pacquiao in the biggest money maker in the history of boxing. What we had was no surprise though many are still crying about it. Floyd Mayweather, JR. did what he always does, and that is just enough to win without giving the fans excitement of a classic like Sugar Ray Leonard Vs Tommy Hearns I. With that said, I am not saying that boxing is not the sport of hit and not get hit, but no matter what anyone says, Mayweather, JR. will never be an exciting fighter no matter how many million plus dollar cars or pictures of his money he posts on Social Media.

Now we have “Big Mouth” Floyd Mayweather, JR., on Social Media via a video where he is talking to a punching dummy pretending it’s Manny Pacquiao and smacking it like he did his kid’s mother. Classless to say the least, but hey, he could have replaced that dummy with several of his “Yes Men” in his entourage for the video as well which they would have been more than happy to let him throw money at them ala “Make it Rain”.

Floyd is only half of the poison in this article. The other half is Manny “Excuses” Pacquiao. After his one-sided defeat, (not sure how any fan could say Manny won their fight though many have) it was his shoulder… Who cares? I can and I am sure RSR readers you can list many fighters who fought injured and gave it their all to either win or lose, but left the excuses in their respective dressing rooms.

So there you have your poison to choose from. Is it Floyd and his BIG MOUTH or Manny and his EXCUSES?

Here is where I stand. Who cares about a fight that may have been huge for boxing, but was boring as can be? I would rather give my time to many of the up and coming fighters who love giving their fans all they can. There are too many to list here, but feel free to leave a comment on this article with your choices for fighters you would rather see.
