New Rumors of Undertaker Appearance at This Sunday’s Battleground or Monday Night Raw – Breaking WWE News

Earlier this week, the Undertaker’s trainer tweeted a picture of the part-time WWE Superstar working out and looking amazing, especially for a 50-year-old man who has been through torment in the ring for decades. The tweet was a bit of a surprise, since the Undertaker was not supposed to be on TV for at least several more months, or so everyone thought. The latest tweet has led to increased speculation that the Undertaker is going to make an appearance at Battleground this Sunday or possibly Monday Night Raw the day after, likely to build momentum for a match at SummerSlam or WrestleMania.

An Undertaker return during either Battleground or Monday Night Raw would certainly boost ratings and excite the WWE fan base. However, it really remains to be seen what type of role the Undertaker will play during an upcoming major pay per view, which likely will be either SummerSlam or WrestleMania. One rumor is that Undertaker will make his appearance on Monday Night Raw and begin building his match for SummerSlam against Brock Lesnar. Another rumor is that Undertaker will fight Sting at WrestleMania or even SummerSlam, or less likely, Stone Cold Steve Austin. I’ve even heard Kevin Owens may be an option for Taker at WrestleMania. However, longtime WWE fans have long yearned for a match between the Undertaker and Sting, and neither have competed since the last WrestleMania. The rumors are really endless and have been for some time, but brought to new life with the latest tweet by the Deadman’s trainer. If any of the rumors prove correct, and there are a lot of them right now, we’ll know something by this Sunday at Battleground or one day later at Monday Night Raw. If not, what a huge letdown.
