RSR Weight Class Rankings Updated – Breaking Boxing News

At Heavyweight, #3 Tyson Fury defeated World Champion Wladimir Klitschko to become the new World Champion, while Klitschko will fall to #1. Other fighters may rise or fall due to these changes.

At Light Heavyweight, #15 Eleider Alvarez defeated #8 Isaac Chilemba by close majority decision. Alvarez will rise to #8, while Chilemba will fall to #10. Other fighters may rise or fall due to these changes.

At Super Middleweight, #1 James DeGale defeated unranked Lucian Bute by competitive unanimous decision. DeGale will maintain his ranking. Bute proves he is still world class despite the loss and will hover just outside the top 20.

At Junior Middleweight, #1 Erislandy Lara defeated #18 Jan Zaveck by 3rd round stoppage. Lara will maintain his ranking, while Zaveck will exit the rankings. #4 Jermall Charlo defeated unranked Wilky Campfort by 4th round stoppage. Charlo will maintain his ranking. Jarrett Hurd will enter the rankings at #20. Other fighters may rise or fall due to these changes.

At Welterweight, #19 Errol Spence defeated unranked Alejandro Barrera impressively stopping him in round 5. Spence will climb to #18. Other fighters may rise or fall due to these changes.

At Junior Welterweight, unranked Adrian Granados defeated #15 Amir Imam by stoppage in the 8th round of a great fight. Imam will exit the rankings while Granados will enter at #18. Other fighters may rise or fall due to these changes.

At Junior Bantamweight, #3 Carlos Cuadras defeated unranked Koki Eto by unanimous decision. Eto dominated the late rounds with Caudras running to preserve an early lead. Cuadras maintains his rankings, while Eto will hover just outside the top 20.

At Junior Flyweight, in an outright upset, unranked Yu Kimura defeated #2 Pedro Guevara by split decision. Kimura will enter at #3, while Guevara will fall to #4. #20 Angel Acosta will exit for the time being to make room for Kimura. Other fighters may rise or fall due to these changes.

On the Pound for Pound Chart, #11 Wladimir Klitschko was defeated by unranked Tyson Fury, and will exit the rankings. Erislandy Lara will enter at #20.
