Manny Pacquiao vs Timothy Bradley III Set For 2016 – Breaking Boxing News

Today the Manilla Times broke the news that Manny Pacquiao has chosen a familiar foe as his next, and potentially final opponent. Pacquiao has signed to face Timothy Bradley in a fight to take place on April 9th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. This will represent the rubber match between these two fighters. Previously, Pacquiao lost a controversial split decision to Bradley in June 2012 and then gained revenge, defeating Bradley by a unanimous decision in April 2014. Why am I not jumping for joy at the prospect of this matchup? Candidly, I saw the last I want to of Pacquiao against Mayweather this past May. Shoulder or no shoulder, he looked old and lifeless. At this point, I can’t see the 37 year old Pacquiao regaining the fountain of youth. The pick here is Bradley by a convincing decision victory followed by, hopefully, a permanent retirement for Manny.
