Gennady Golovkin continues to be the man that no one wants to fight. Reportedly, “GGG’s’ camp has offered newly crowned WBO Middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders $4 million to face him in a unification match to potentially take place this April. Saunders camp has yet to respond and is reportedly looking for more money. From this observer’s perspective, $4 million is certainly nothing to sneeze at, especially for a guy who is far from a household name in the sport. That said, I can’t really blame him. Billy Joe is a nice fighter but, to steal a line from the legendary Larry Bird, he would have a better chance of “Seeing God” than defeating “GGG”.

In the meantime, Gennady Golovkin continues to be a “Super Fighter” in search of a “Super Fight”.
