Cam Newton and the Panthers Crush the Cardinals 49 -15

If this were a boxing match if would have been stopped after the first quarter. Carolina led 17-0 after Cam Newton found Corey Brown for an 86 yard touchdown pass with less than a minute remaining in the period. From there, the outcome was never in doubt but the carnage continued. By the end of the 3rd quarter, the Panthers led 34-7 and the rest of the game was garbage time. The Cardinals offense committed 7 turnovers, while Newton threw for 335 yards and accounted for 4 touchdowns, rushing for two and rushing for two. Carolina’s 49 points for the game represents a Conference Championship record for the Super Bowl era. Don’t look now NFL fans but this Panthers team is for real! They will likely be a double digit favorite over the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50. Get your popcorn ready! Super Bowl 50 comes down to New School vs Old School as Cam Newton and the Panthers square off against Peyton Manning and the Broncos, in what is likely to be Peyton’s final game!
