Christy Martin Stabbed and Shot Update: Husband’s Murder Attempt Fueled by Another Woman

There has been an ongoing rumor within the boxing community that the marriage between Jim and Christy Martin was one of business rather than of love and that Christy was in fact a lesbian. It was their business and if it was true or not didn’t matter much, but this topic was always brought up within the media circles whenever “The Coal Miner’s Daughter” was brought up. The speculation remained within the boxing community and never made it to press until now.
RSR was just contacted and informed that Jim Martin, now accused of attempted murder and aggravated battery with a weapon contends that his wife was in fact leaving him for another woman, sending him into a rage where he stabbed and shot Christy.
Marital problems and with Christy now leaving him sent Jim over the edge and he must now face the music and will hopefully be locked away permanently for his actions. There is already some coming to the defense of Jim, mostly driven by the idea that Christy misled him in the marriage, but the facts are the facts and there is absolutely no reason for him to do what he did. Christy is the victim and we wish her a speedy recovery.
