Oy Vay are you going to hear it today… Miami Beach is the place for me, sunlight and blue skies with beautiful moonlight out across the bay have made me stay here for years. Plus in its heyday, boxing was tops! Come to Miami Beach. Do I sound like a commercial here? Probably so, but I do love this place.
Anthony Joshua – Charles Martin… I read on Ringside Report they will fight in April. Look Martin is limited, but the guy has got big bagels to say the least to take a formidable opponent in his first defense something that Deontay Wilder has not done too date. Sure, Joshua is not a blue chip fighter yet, but he can punch and possesses more skills than all three of Wilder’s opponents in his title defenses. I know Joshua is the favorite going in and rightfully so, but just remember fight fans, most fighters get better when they win a championship belt even if they are a JOKE today! I am going to say this fight is 50-50.
Floyd Mayweather, JR… Don’t you love the way he teases the media about coming back? Well, I think that EGO of his will have him coming back in the next six months for the 50-0 mark!
Ezzard Charles… Great fighter and so underrated! I met him a few times over the years and nothing, but nice things to say about the gentleman. RIP
Robert Redford… One of my all-time favorites on the big screen. We met about 25 years ago and chatted for a few minutes. I found him very down to earth and his organization Sundance, is the real deal. Here are my top five Redford movies:

My Pal Al (“Bad” Brad’s Father)…. It’s around 1972, and Al was down in Florida visiting some friends with Bradley and his mother. At the hotel they stayed at, Al was so well known; he used to hold court at the swimming pool with his crew and people who were just captivated by his stories. I remembered this last night and truly miss those days when Al ruled the room. Shit any room for that matter he came into, he ruled….
The Chutzpah Award… The Chutzpah Award goes to HGTV for keeping my Sadie glued to the TV so I can watch my boxing tapes! Anything that keeps her quiet for hours at a time, is well deserving of this award!
