Roy Jones JR., 63-9, 46 KO’s scored a second round KO over boxing fan contest winner Vyron Phillips, 0-1 last night at the Celebrity Theater in Phoenix, Arizona. Jones,JR., who weighed in at 201.7 lbs., didn’t do much in round one, but then he rocked Phillips with a right hand at the bell. Jones connected with some flush shots in round two, then laid out Phillips with another crushing right hand.

Phillips was selected from more than 1,500 boxing fan entries for the opportunity to fight Jones, JR. He would have collected $100,000 with a win.
