Packy’s World: Gennady “GGG” Golovkin – Kell Brook (Oy Vay), Tragedy in America Not Just Dallas, James Gandolfini, My Pal Al, & The Chutzpah Award Posthumously Goes to Compassion, Respect & Doing the Right Thing!

Oy Vay are you going to hear it today… As the news is consumed with senseless murders and has my bagel breaker Sadie in tears, I am utterly disgusted with a segment of society that has become inhumane, lacking morals and thinking that the murder of any race of human beings is the norm and acceptable. As it always is, a small segment of in this case police, give the good ones a truly bad name. I knew many cops growing up and there were always some bad seeds, but many who were not. It is going to take at a minimum, the good ones to stand up and break that bullshit Code of Blue Silence to weed out the bad ones and along with that, a stand down with training not in just how to handle crisis situations, but in how to be more humane.
And I am not giving the bad guys a pass here either. They will always be around and have to be dealt with in all races, walks of life and so on. But these systematic attacks on minorities has got to stop. In my 80 plus years, I watched my dearest friend Alvin Berkwitt (My Pal Al) fight for equality for all. If he were alive to see what is going on today, he would be outraged and would have been the number one fighter on the front lines to do everything he could to try and make racial bigotry go away.
He was not a fool either and always knew, where there is man, there is hatred, but also where there is love, understanding and respect, there can be change. I pray, along with Sadie, for a change now before the world comes to an end something that each day, looks more like a reality then a passage in any religious book.
OK folks, I come off my soapbox and let’s get to some boxing!

Can you say KNOCKOUT? “GGG” by 5th round KO in a fight that should not have been made. What did I say in my last column to Golden Boy for not making “GGG” Vs Alvarez? Let me help you! “Kiss my TUKUS” Golden Boy!

The Chutzpah Award… The Chutzpah Award Posthumously goes to Compassion, Respect & Doing the Right Thing! Yes, all of the above that I was raised on and seems in society today, is all but gone! I hope I live long enough to see it come back, but that may be a pipe dream at this point. Only time will tell.
