Georges St. Pierre’s return is underway as the fighter enrolls himself in USADA’s program as part of the initial procedure to get a contract in the UFC. St. Pierre did not shy away from announcing his intention to return to fighting and as part of the process of his return, a 4-month initial testing will have to be undertaken by St. Pierre before he gets the green light to step in the octagon once again since 2013. St. Pierre previously said that one of the reasons he left the UFC was because of its lack of stringent testing, among others.

Now, it seems that the Canadian is satisfied with what the UFC has been doing in its anti-doping campaign.

St. Pierre reiterated did not want the 4-month exemption given to Brock Lesnar (Lesnar’s test turned out to be positive) in fact St. Pierre is adamant he will be tested.

“I don’t want to be an exception, because I was very outspoken about performance-enhancing drugs. It would be bad for my reputation if I would have an exemption—I don’t want to have a free pass; I want to be like everybody else.” St. Pierre’s inevitable return would make the welterweight division even more interesting with its bevy of fighters and the matchups had become more interesting.

Current welterweight champ has called out St. Pierre for a fight, stating that he’s in for the big money fight with the French-Canadian but St. Pierre also has his hit list as to who will be his next opponent, St. Pierre said he has no problem fighting either of the Diaz brothers; Nick or Nate. He’s also very much open to superfights at middleweight or maybe with welterweight-wannabe Conor McGregor.

St. Pierre is widely considered as the best welterweight of all time and arguably one of the greatest fighters to have ever fought inside the octagon, St. Pierre is tied with current middleweight champion Michael Bisping with most UFC career wins, he follows Anderson Silva at second in most consecutive title defenses. St. Pierre had 2 title reigns in the UFC.
