Conor McGregor Blasts John Cena – Shocking Story!
Conor McGregor is in full promotional/trashtalk mode ahead of his UFC 202 fight versus Nate Diaz. McGregor had nothing nice to say to the pro-wrestling community last week which got a mighty backlash of responses from signficant people of the pro-westling community, however this week, McGregor did clarify that he has respect for the old school of pro-wrestling:
“Like I said, no disrespect to the dons of the game, the McMahons. [WWE CEO Vince McMahon] is a [expletive] legend. They wrote Vinny off a few years ago when he dropped from the billions and then he rose back up and now he’s back in the billionaire club. What he’s been able to do
with that bunch of dweebs he has over there at the moment has been phenomenal and I respect him for that. And then of course the OGs of the game, The Rock, Stone Cold, they’re cool [expletive]. Even Ric Flair is a cool [expletive].”
But McGregor expressed his distaste for the current crop of pro-wrestling superstars and set his crosshairs aimed at John Cena.
“What’s the main guy? John Cena,” he said. “He’s 40. He’s 40 years of age. He’s walking around in a luminous orange t-shirt and a headband talking about nobody can see him. We can see him right there. He’s a big, fat, 40-year-old failed Mr. Olympia [expletive].”
McGregor is the current king of fight promotion, he has his way with words and everybody listens, he is a huge pay-per-view draw which is no surprise on how he hypes up his persona.
McGregor did not rule out the fact that he’s considering a stint in pro-wrestling, if that’s the case then this could be either be a case of a work or a shoot, we’ll know soon enough but rest assured McGregor put a target on his back, which is not a bad thing, rather it’s another opportunity to upgrade the McGregor brand.
