Today is the 75-year anniversary of a fight between Sugar Ray Robinson and Fritzie Zivic. Zivic had twice defeated SRR´s idol, Henry Armstrong (in fact, the second Armstrong-Zivic fight happened exactly 1 year before Muhammad Ali was born) and Robinson beat Zivic (by then the former World Welterweight Champion) by a 10-round Unanimous Decision, at Madison Square Garden, New York, New York, USA. Robinson would later become World Welterweight Champion once and World Middleweight Champion five times, and he is considered by many as The P4P Number 1 Boxer Of all-time.
