Anthony Joshua – Eric Molina: A Mismatch in the Making!
Current IBF Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua, 17-0, 17 KO’s makes his second defense of his title on December 10th against Eric Molina, 25-3, 19 KO’s at the Manchester Arena in England. It will no doubt be a sellout crowd because the English boxing fans always support their fighters big or small. The odds makers have Joshua as a huge betting favorite and rightfully so. Joshua, has only gotten better since winning his title back in February, when he destroyed than IBF Champion Charles Martin, who at the time, was undefeated with a record of 22-0-1, 21 KO’s, when Anthony blasted him out of there in the 2nd round.
Molina was a last minute substitute when Wladmir Klitschko was injured and had to pull out of the fight with Joshua which was made after Tyson Fury gave up all of his belts in wake of a drug scandal. In all three of Molina’s losses, he has been knocked out by the likes of Ashanti Jordan (Molina’s professional debut), Chris Arreola and current WBC Heavyweight Champion Deontay Wilder.
Expect the same here and my prediction is very straight to the point. Joshua by 4th round KO after giving Molina a beating for the first three sided rounds.
The one positive that can come out of this fight is that it appears at this point of Joshua’s boxing career, he wants to stay active as Deontay Wilder did before his hand injuries in his last fight which he won against Chris Arreola.
