Sergio Mora Shocked on ESPN2 Friday Night Fights!

Bryan Vera, 18-5, 11 KO’s, proved to be a spoiler again by upsetting Sergio Mora, 22-2-2, 6 KO’s, via split decision by scores of 96-94 (twice) and 94-96.
From the opening round, Vera was aggressive and kept Mora in a shell. It was an ugly fight with the mauling Vera trying to catch the slippery “Latin Snake”, while Mora found some spots along the way and many of the rounds were close, leading to the close decision.
After pulling a draw with Shane Mosley, Mora has had a major setback with this loss that it will take a very long time to rebound.
