Floyd Mayweather, JR., Miguel Cotto & More: Zab Judah Returns to the Title Picture
This Saturday, Zab “Super” Judah, 40-6, 27 KO’s, returns to the title picture, vying for the vacant IBF Light Welterweight Title against Kaizer Mabuza, 23-6-3, 14 KO’s. Judah, at 33, has had a very storied career, taking on some of the biggest names in boxing. He may still be the toughest challenge that Floyd Mayweather, JR., has ever had, knocking down “Pretty Boy” but running out of gas and focus and losing the later rounds en route to a decision.
He would come up short against Miguel Cotto (TKO by 11), get blitzed by Kostya Tszyu (TKO-2), Joshua Clottey (TD-9), but despite the defeats, he still remains a big name in boxing and has moved back to the light welterweight division where he was at his best.
He has put together four victories, including a decision win over the previously undefeated Lucas Martin Matthysse in his last fight and is favored to beat Mabuza and reclaim a part of the title, putting him in the running for a payday shot against Amir Khan or Timothy Bradley.
The fight will be broadcast on Pay Per View.
