Saul Alvarez – Matthew Hatton Shocking Fight Results

20 year old Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, 36-01, 26 KO’s scored a lopsided unanimous decision over European Welterweight Champion Matthew Hatton, 41-5-2, 16 KO’s on Saturday night at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Throughout the fight, Alvarez punished Hatton who though he lost every round, showed true heart and wanted to win. In the end, the Judges’ all scored the fight for Alvarez with the score of 119-108 to give him the WBC Super Welterweight Belt and with it, he becomes the youngest champion at the 154 LB weight class.
