Wrestlemania Shocking Update: The Rock, John Cena & Snooki Get RAW

March 15th, 2011 Geno

By Kevin Nelson

This week’s edition of RAW took place in St. Louis, Missouri, and the show began with “The Rock” (Dwayne Johnson) addressing John Cena and the Miz.

First it was a humorous kid dressed as John Cena and the Rock did his best in belittling him and then sent a message that he will appear on RAW before Wrestlemania and he will lay the smackdown on The Miz and Cena and said the time for talking is over.

After ranting about how much more awesome he is compared to Cena and The Rock, the anonymous RAW GM announced that there will be two matches: John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio and The Miz vs. Great Khali.

The match would begin with Khali dominating until fired assistant, Alex Riley, came in and attacked him. Miz would grab a chair and hit Khali and was disqualified but continued his vicious attack on the Great Khali.

After stating that if he were to lose to Daniel Bryan again he would quit. Sheamus after weeks of losing came through with a victory and the new US Champion. Michael Cole brought out a special guest who turned out to be Jerry Lawler’s son Brian Christopher (otherwise known as Grandmaster Sexay) who would tell Lawler that he was never there for him and that he is a bigger star than his father.

Good Ole Jim Ross came to his friend’s defense and paid the price for it by getting attacked by Michael Cole’s trainer Jack Swagger who locked on an ankle lock on him and then had Cole attempt one on Jim Ross.

Next match was Randy Orton facing Mason Ryan. So far, 3 up and 3 down for Orton as he not only defeated members of Nexus but punted them in the head following a victory.

Ryan was no different as he suffered the same fate.

Now when he meets CM Punk at Wrestlemania will have nobody in his corner and for the first time in a long time, Punk and Orton will have no outside interference in their Wrestlemania tilt.

Next was the shocking announcement that Drew Carey is inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame. His only appearance was in the 2001 Royal Rumble. He joins Shawn Michaels, Bullet Bob Armstrong, Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Sunny.

The much anticipated match featuring Vicki Guerrero facing Trish Stratus was next. Vicki got the victory thanks to the help of Lay Cool. Snooki would attack Layla and all hell broke loose with the John Morrison and Dolph Ziggler getting involved.

So the announcement following that melee was a six person tag featuring Snooki, Trish Stratus and John Morrison facing Layla, Michelle McCool and Dolph Ziggler at Wrestlemania.

For the first time WWE number one contender for the WWE Championship and the number one contender for the World Heavyweight title met as John Cena and Alberto Del Rio faced each other.

As Cena went in for his finishing move, Brotus Clay attacked. As the Rock’s music blared, the crowd got all excited only it was the Miz who was dressed up as the Rock. He continued to beat up John Cena and remind him that he and only he, Cena should be concerned with.
