Vince McMahon: The John Morrison Shocker
Vince McMahon has demolished one of his stars, John Hennigan (aka John Morrison)…The man I reported to everyone earlier about his “spineless” behavior has moved to his boss. the WWE CEO feels John Morrison “Can’t kick anyone’s ass in a real fight” and because of that won’t achieve the success many feel he’s destined for and hasn’t been getting. That’s not the only thing McMahon frowned upon as “The Prince of Parkour” has many people within the WWE feeling he comes off as if he’s performing in his matches, as opposed to fighting (Which makes no sense as they are entertainers not wrestlers RIGHT Vince?). This allegedly holds him back, as does his relationship with Melina and also the belief that his promo ability is subpar, which it most certainly is.
Character aside, it’s been also been said that McMahon doesn’t respect him as a man. Years ago, he allowed Melina to engage in a sexual relationship with former WWE talent Dave Bautista aka Batista while the two were dating. Morrison opted to be professional instead of confrontational and therefore lost “kudos” with the WWE CEO. Vince has always been a fan of confrontations and this not becoming one rubbed him the wrong way. Of course, WWE management feels differently, and feels Morrison did the right thing.
As previously reported with Trish Stratus, she appeared on Sirius Radio’s Busted Open on Friday and politely began to bury Morrison by indicating that “he wasn’t too smart in his decision making with her.” She confirmed all of my reports that Morrison wasn’t interested in listening to her suggestions for their performance at WrestleMania, and that when she went to hug him during the post-match celebration, he cold-shouldered her. The feeling is that his unprofessional behavior will set him and Melina back politically within the company since Stratus is highly regarded amongst company personnel.
WWE has also released a statement saying FCW and international talent is going to comprise of 70 stars seeking a spot in a roster of 30, and Morrison and Melina may be casualties of politics.
