Floyd Mayweather JR Major Legal Troubles: “MY HOMIES HAVE GUNS!”
So with the Pacquiao-Mosley fight in the books, we knew that Mayweather would be in a headline for something regarding the outcome of the bout…that is not the case this time. Floyd Mayweather, JR., who many feel is the only man (other than Marquez) who can beat Manny Pacquiao has been hit with a misdemeanor harassment charge in his hometown of Las Vegas, Nevada stemming from an incident all the way back in October of 2010.
Allegedly, Floyd Mayweather threatened two security guards after they gave him citations for some of his entourage’s cars. According to the criminal complaint that was filed, the best boxer on the planet supposedly began threatening the two security guards after he noticed the citations on the cars. The security guards claim Mayweather let it be known that “My homies have guns. If you want me to call them, they’d come over here and take care of you.” There has been no word from Mayweather’s camp regarding the charges, but we should expect something to be said eventually.
People are hoping Pacquiao decides to take that blood test and have the Mayweather bout come to fruition, but he won’t because he’s hiding something. However, Given there is NOBODY else other than Mayweather left for Pacquiao to face (he keeps proving the “Elite” talent pool in boxing is very very shallow) after out boxing a noticeably old Shane Mosley, I guess we could give Marquez another go at him…But personally, if Pacquiao is the best boxing has to offer and he fights another fight like the Mosley fight, boxing will fall drastically, even further than they already have.
