Casey Anthony Vs The World: THE LOSS OF CAYLEE NOT FORGOTTEN
How did this happen? That is the question that the media and public are asking. How did the jury give the verdict of “not guilty” in the first degree murder case of “Tot Mom” Casey Anthony?
According to most media sources, this was an open and shut case. We had a party girl, a girl that wanted no responsibility, a girl that had a daughter that was cramping her style, and she elected to murder her to get her freedom. The case was played in the public and the vast amounts of people were leaning toward guilty, but the jury saw it differently, and now Casey Anthony is on the streets and trying to restart her life. It will not be a normal life by any means.
Even though Casey has been released and found not guilty, life won’t be easy for her. You have to figure that any job she applies for will be very weary of bringing her on board due to the large amount of negative media attention and concern that they are hiring a murderer.
The crazies are another concern for Casey. The more footage I watch of the angry mob, the more concern I have that Casey’s death penalty will be carried out by some nut. Caylee being murdered or dying accidentally is a terrible thing, but there is a great possibility that something else could happen as one of these nuts attempt to exact revenge.
With the public set in their ways, convinced that a murderer has gone free, Casey won’t have an easy time adjusting to the world. Inside of her home, father George Anthony will not relate very well with his daughter after her molestation allegations. Mother Cindy will have her fair share of issues as well. The Antony family is still in turmoil.
I was part of the group that believed Casey to be guilty, based primarily on her behavior while her daughter was missing. She never reported it, went on shopping sprees and partied, all of which are strange when her 2 year old is missing. She constantly lied and did herself no favors with the investigators, but she came out smelling like a rose and she was tried and released by the system that we have accepted. We don’t get a “do over.” It is what it is, and we must accept the verdict and also accept her back into society. As much as we may believe that she is guilty, the jury was closer to the situation then we were and we must honor their verdict.
