Amir Khan Ekes by Julio Diaz: BOXING NEWS & RESULTS

Amir Khan, 28-3, 19 KO’s, had a lot more trouble than most thought he would with the close-shave victory over Julio Diaz, 40-8-1, 29 KO’s, taking the unanimous nod by scores of 114-113, 115-113 and 115-112. Khan actually had to climb off the floor in round four to get this victory.

Khan’s star continues to dim. At one point, Khan was set for some big money showdowns, but losses to Lamont Peterson and Danny Garcia followed by this performance puts him out of the big scale PPV picture.
