WBC light flyweight champion Pedro “Pedrin” Guevara (26-1-1, 17 KOs) won a twelve round unanimous decision over mandatory challenger Ganigan Lopez (25-6, 15 KOs) on Saturday night at the Cenreo de Usos Multiples in Mazatlan, Sinaloa, Mexico. Scores were 116-112, 116-112, 117-111.

Guevara’s brother, super bantamweight Alberto “Metro” Guevara (21-2, 8 KOs), scored a third round TKO over Oscar “De La Renta” Blanquet (32-11-1, 23 KOs). Alberto dropped Blanquet in round three and got the stoppage with a furious follow-up barrage.
