SJC Boxing Mentoring Program With Boxing Trainer & Gym Owner Steven Canton Unofficially Start in Fort Myers Florida! – Boxing News

SJC Boxing Press Release

We unofficially started the SJC Mentoring Program with Coronado High School Senior Adrian Gaona being the first student.

He received a nice lunch, some inspirational talks and boxing training. He, his sister who brought him and his mother who picked him up were all very happy to have this opportunity.

Bobby Urtis took him through the paces of proper training while Mr. Sergio Stephens, of Coronado High, came with support and inspiration. It was a nice beginning to what will be a great Program.

The next day we had Tevin Brown, Juan Zacarias and Jahim Brown joining the program.

They also had a great time, receiving lunch, inspirational talks and boxing training.

In the evening our SJC Mentoring program welcomed Elijah Harris 3rd grader studying online now but going back to Skyline Elementary soon, Tyler Nicholson 4th grade at Orangewood Elementary, Teddy “Bear” Kurth, Hayden Landis and Ethan Nieves, all in Grade 4 at Skyline Elementary. They are all unable to make the afternoon session so they come in the evening with their parents. So glad they are here, working, learning and enjoying.

In the next few days we will fine tune details with the school and welcome Harry Chapin as a partner and officially launch the program in a big way.
